Would you sell the house of bequeathment?

I've inherited the bequeathment of my granny's house. Right now, I've not fully utilised it even though I'm paying all the household utilities etc. The main reason is that I'm a sentimental person so I prefer to leaveeverything intact and untouched, like that of a museum full of collection of my granny's used items. In addition, I have 2 other homes and not in need of money so I'm leaving it as it is and occasionally going back.

From a rational and practical perspective, I should either (1) rent the whole house as an investment to get a lucrative amount of rental fee or (2) sell the house away to get a lump sum. My parents are supportive of (2) while I'm reluctant to do both for the abovementioned reasons of me having a deep sentimental attachment to the house so I do not wish to rent out to others or sell it away and discard the furniture.

What do you think of my situation? Any suggestions?

Grab your digital camera and go to town on granny's house. Find letters, cards, pictures, etc. anything with her handwriting, favorite recipies etc. Then make yourself (or get someone to do it for you) a scrap book. Then, you can go down sentimental lane whenever you want and can proceed with plan one or plan 2.
