He's 40ish, lives w/ mom&dad 6yrs, pays child support to ex and?

children, socks money away. Say's he's saving for his children's future and ours. Thinks a mortgage would be a poor investment. Should I run?

yup, get to step'n...

he wants no commitment, likes mommy doing his laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. he is comfortable where he is and just wants a 'girl' on the side.

hes the kinda guy, where he'll end up comparing you to his mother (and NONE of us can ever live up to that high standard they place them). does he point out your faults, correct you all the time, etc?

thats a clue.

you both have different dreams, so i say, keep looking for a guy who deserves you.... a guy who wants his own life, his own house and you.

.

Get your shoes on and RUN!

You can do better. Leave and don't look back.

I don't know if you should run or not. Only you know the answer to that question. If he's trying to save up for certain things like retirement and kids college funds, etc. I think that's quite admirable.

Real estate is a good investment if you can afford it. He may not feel like he can, so he thinks it's a poor investment. Just a thought, even though I'm not in his head.

He sounds slightly retarded and dependant on his parents. Its really sad that he lives with them and he's in his forties. A mortgage is GOOD DEBT.
