USD to EURO in America?

Howdy, I want to convert some of my America Dollars into Euros. I am in the US, I live here. The Euro is more stable than the Dollar so I want to get some as an investment. I don't need a lot, I don't have much money. Is there anywhere in Houston Texas I can exchange 100 dollars or less for Euros without paying unreasonable fees?

The Euro is more stable than the dollar? Who told you that? Your expenses are in dollars, so it doesn't matter to you what the Euro does. You can't pay your bills with Euros.

Even if you want to engage in currency speculation, $100 is such an insignificant amount (no offense intended, but it's true) that you can't make any reasonable profit from it. If you had put $100 in Euros several years ago, you would be up to about $140 by now. Big deal. It's possible to make good money in currency trading, but you need some serious capital (and be willing to risk losing it) and you need to know what you're doing. It's not an investment for amateurs.

If you still want to do it, be prepared to get soaked on the conversion for such a small amount. You're going to have to pay the retail exchange rate plus a commission. That's going to take a nice bite out of your $100. Check with some of the major banks in your area. Someone probably does foreign exchange.

You can go to the airport and get your US dollars exchanged to Euros.

Euro worths more then the Dollar right now. But Euro is not more stable then the dollar. most of the trades and exchanges in the international and global markets are made in USD. but if you wanna get some Euros, you can go to a national bank, for example: HSBC, or bank of america.
