Has anyone bought any as an investment ( anticipating a possible revalue)? Or is it another hole to throw money down?

The Paris Club has set it up so that much of Iraqi debt will be written off in the interest of future money to be made. This debt write-off should speed the process up.

I had the opportunity to buy a ton of this really cheap during my first deployment......i didn't think it would ever go anywhere. Apparently the value of it has doubled since the new currancy came into circulation in 2004. Several of the Soldiers in my unit spent thousands of dollars buying this money in hopes it would turn around like the Kuwaiti Dinar. Do I still think its worth it? NO! In the near future you would have much greater returns in well picked stocks.
