High interest secure investments.?

I currently keep some money in ING CDs that pay low 5.25% interest. Does anybody know of secure investments that pay higher rates???

Actually I think ING Direct has one of the highest secure investment interest rates. So you're already in one. Most investments from major banks pay out the usual 3%. However, if you want something less secure look into a Balance Growth RRSP Mutual Fund. It gives you interest every day but it's riskier than an ING.

In my opinion stick with ING.

www.bankrate.com shows cds and money market from banks/institutions that offer the highest rates

with the feds dropping the interest rates, this is not a good area at the moment

good luck

Try Icesave http://www.icesave.co.uk/ and expect their rates to go up. The base rate has just gone up in Iceland to over 13% - but who needs a mortgage when you can build an igloo for free? I forgot their rate in the UK is 6.3 AER.

I know a company currently offering 16%
