High interest secure investments.? |
I currently keep some money in ING CDs that pay low 5.25% interest. Does anybody know of secure investments that pay higher rates??? Actually I think ING Direct has one of the highest secure investment interest rates. So you're already in one. Most investments from major banks pay out the usual 3%. However, if you want something less secure look into a Balance Growth RRSP Mutual Fund. It gives you interest every day but it's riskier than an ING. www.bankrate.com shows cds and money market from banks/institutions that offer the highest rates Try Icesave http://www.icesave.co.uk/ and expect their rates to go up. The base rate has just gone up in Iceland to over 13% - but who needs a mortgage when you can build an igloo for free? I forgot their rate in the UK is 6.3 AER.
