Can anybody tell me the pro's and con's of putting up and owning some self -storage units?

I'm wondering if this would be a profitable investment. I'm under the assumption they can make pretty good money. If no, then what would in your opinion?

Very expensive investment, very cheap maintenance and overhead.

Once you get into the business, if you do it right, almost all your rents are free of expenses. All you have to do is make your site big enough to be worth the construction.

You can hedge your investment in advance by making sure damage to the property, liabilities for people living in the properties and security aren't issues.

Thank you! Very helpful insights! Im sure this will curve the liability for me! Best of luck! Report It
