How do I get some of my loses back?

I have lost a large sums of money in the stock market since returning from Iraq as a war vet, and have become a poor man again. Please tell me what I need to do to stop losing all my money to bad investments! I try so hard to put my money to work for me and am tierd of being alone and broke in life!

stop investing?

You must be investing in high risk stocks, stick with blue chip stocks. They take a little time to pay off but they will and you'll never lose.

first stop investing in companies you'd see that it wil drop. maybe youre not investing in blue chips. but then again, the stock market can be really tricky. if you still have the stomach to invest in stocks, invest in companies like google, or any pharmaceutical companies or biotech companies.

if not, invest in bonds, funds, or simple deposits. or better yet, get a loan and start a business
