Ford Repo? |
Has anyone ever had Ford Motor Credit repo their vehicle and got it back. Car repo'd last Thursday. Stupid me behind 3 months as of the 5th of July. Have the money to pay, but I tied my money up in investment property repairs. I SAID I AM STUPID OK. Woke up, car GONE....IN SHOCK. Spoke with Ford, told me I need to pay $5k to get it back and requalify...? I told Ford I will pay double the cost to get acct current, fees, and 4 months in advanced. They are still making it real hard to get my car back. I am in LUV with my CAR. MY BESTFRIEND IS GONE. Yes I should have paid for my bestfriend, but I said I MADE A STUPID MISTAKE. I was taking my car for granted. Has anyone ever or know someone that got their car back from Ford after repo? Thanks You are going to have to pay the $5k plus re qualify for the loan. I would recomend seriously not paying the $5k unless you requalify first because if you do they could take it and then say you don't requalify. Then they keep it as the deficancy on the loan you owe (they sell the car at auction and charge you the differance between what you owe and what the car sold for). PS...you could always try to buy your car back at auction, but if you can't get a loan I don't know how that would work. in order to get your vehicle back, you will need to come curretn on all payments, plus late charges and finance charges, all fees the ford motor had to incur, towing fees and storage fees. That wasn't a stupid mistake...that was plain, conscious and huge irresponsibility! |
