there are reasons to take the job: money saved and investment for a better position in a year, travel, adventure, leave the current job that exposes you to hazards and on good terms; there are reasons not to take the job: unsure about texas, reports of people not liking it/the job there, i'm making ends meet, training and schooling towards the career. everyone is telling me to go, my heart is hesitant,

You only live once, go for it. It is only normal to be hesitant when walking into a new situation, but you become brave when you don't let that little bit of fear hold you back. So be brave and go to Texas!

go. get your **** and go. i'll tell you i couldn't do it anymore. I walked out without anyone knowing.. when they found i wan't there they came calling for me, and I said no thank you. I need to get my self and emotions together. it's an emergency. i need some relief. i need to help myself. **** everyone else, because if i'm not ok, those around me aren't either. understand?

It's hard to decipher what your heart tells you some times. It may be that the job doesn't sound great, or it could be that you're just resistant to change. Have a close friend who knows you evaluate the situation for you. Tell them all of your qualms and feelings and get their opinion about what the feeling actually is -- jitters about the job or jitters about change.

Listen to your Heart!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes when your weighing the pro's and con's in a situation like this you think you have it all worked out but you know you can NEVER really know what moving away like that to go to a new job is really like....until you've already made the move...then its to late...If your heart is hesistant.....i sure wouldn't go

drastic move is always scary and you are hesitant to leave what you know behind. I left my Texas for Maryland and even though I wanted to go right back the first few months I gave it a chance and enjoyed what I nevr had before..I'm still in MD.....I think you just need to do whats best for you. Work is work anywhere you go.
