What would be the best investment outside of the stock market? |
I have about $400 of inheritance money, and I'm not quite sure what to do with it. I've seriously considered jewelry, but I don't know what to buy. My uncle is a jeweller, so I can get better prices for pretty much anything. Anyone have any suggestions? Second-hand jewelry hardly ever returns a profit. Open up a high-yielding savings account, like ING Direct, that pays at least 5% interest. Ditto. A money-market savings account is best for this amount of money Anything that doesn't put money into your pocket after you commit money to it, is not an investment. Consider thinking on a large scale, perhaps saving to purchase a home. |
