Online banks pay much higher interest; you just want to be sure you have a reputable one. Dont get to anxious, or you might turn your 5K into 3K. Check with some Credit Union's they have good rates. At least one I know of is offering 4.17% for 90 days good rate thru Feb.28. (CD) For the short term that is good compared to risking dollars in stocks at this moment. Stocks are for longer term investments. |
