Where should i investment my 拢1000? |
I have managed to earn roughly 拢1000 over the years doing different summer jobs, and at the end of the year i hope to take a gap year, however i was wondering what is the best way to invest my money to gain the biggest return, at present i have my money in premium bonds, I think premium bonds are rubbish. To be fair 拢1000 is that much money to invest. Though high street banks often have good saving schemes in which they offer fixed returns over a fixed period, of say a year in which you can't touch the money . The longer you invest it for the more you will get in return. 1000 lottery tickets? open an I.S.A. acocunt with your bank...highest return for a lowish sum like that and you dont have to pay tax on it. put it in an ISA and forget all about it. Leave it where it is at until you can build a bigger portfolio. I give you my account details later it will be safe. Buy a saving bond from your bank. You get a guaranteed huge rate of interest. in my bank account please lol send it to the jimmy_hills_chin empty pocket fund it will be spent frivolously and without regard that's a tough one, have you thought about lending it to someone and asking for interest on the return of the loan, try not to lend to family members because in my experience you don't always get it back. if you do, do this then make sure you get that person to sign some sort of agreement For no risk , medium term ( 5 years) Well, you are not going to earn any interest with premium bonds, you can only rely on Lady Luck, try I N G direct, they are helpful, and not bad rates, www.ingdirect.co.uk 0800-376-7744 or, 0845-603-8888. |
