What is the best money magazine ?

What is the best money magazine for retirement savings, learning about stocks, savings, ect. One for people who are not so investment savvy.

"Investing for Dummies" isn't a magazine, and it is about as good as Suzie Orman. She didn't even make her initial large capital by investing. She won it in some lawsuit against her former company. She stated this live on a radio show.

I don't like any money magazines, I subscribe to particular investors directly. You pay about $200-$300 per year. That's for adults to learn. To learn now, try a free site like www.bankrate.com or even the Yahoo Money section to start. These sites will guide you through the basics. Then you can move on to "Investing for Dummies" I guess if you're still scared. They call it the "Dummies" series because the same information is free online.

"Smart Money" is good. The book "Investing For Dummies" is excellent.

I have subscribed recently to all of these: Barron's, Money, Smart Money, Kiplinger's.

Of these, Smart Money is the best all-round personal finance mag, and Barron's is unbeatable for keeping your eye on the current state of the stock markets and mutual funds. Money used to be the #1 personal finance mag but I find it has slipped behind the competition and is now kind of boring and not as useful.

Also, for keeping up with the world in general, I highly recommend The Economist.
