Investment Groyp guaranteed 8-10% with high dollars?

I was on a plane reading the Wall Street journal some time ago, and I read an advertisement of a guaranteed 8% APY on an investment vehicle, however the min deposit was $100,000. Do such vehicles exist for large sum's of money, and how do I find them?

Yes. Some companies require large amounts to open accounts. Many have small opening deposits. If it's an IRA, the amounts are even smaller.

Think about this, would you like a guaranteed 8%, or a variable amount ranging from 24%~75% in mutual funds? It's all in your understanding of the facts.

The question to ask is who is guarantee-ing the guarantee-or of this investment. If something sounds too good to be true it is! Stick with reality.
