Which investment bank should I go with?

I recently graduated college and have a full-time job (hurray). I want to start my roth IRA (before april 15th) and will be doing some other investing in the coming years. I've had an account with Scottrade for awhile with some decent success(business major), but with my new schedule, I dont have time to pour over financial statements and press releases.

I would like to find the best investment planning firm I can get for my situation. I would like to have some decent say in where my money goes but also dont want to have to be bogged down with every little decision. Additionally, keeping the commission costs as low as possible is important to me, i'd like my money to work for me, not for my broker. Any info or advice anybody has would be much appreciated.

I kind of like Edward Jones for investing long term - IRAs are not their main product - there is a $30 yearly maintenance fee for them. More conservative than most - but they seem to be more honest than some of the others. You would have to feel comfortable with the rep - so why not interview different companies. You will be educating yourself with each visit! It will cost you, yes - bur it is nice to have someone watching your account while you are busy building a career.
