Is studying an AMBA certified MBA is a good self investment? what is the rate of return for the money paid 4it

AMBA (association of MBA's)accredited universities cost about 30,000 english pounds(including living cost in UK),how long would it take me to recover such an amount within my salary after I graduate and get a job? is it a good investment? would it signaficantly increase my income rate?

If you have no work experience, I'd suggest getting a couple of year's work under your belt before going for the MBA. An MBA is not as useful for someone without work experience. If you've been working for a while, the degree alone isn't going to win or lose the game for you. You need to assess how it will fit in with your other skills and aptitudes to make you a more attractive package for a potential employer. These days, an MBA is not a guarantee, but if you can market yourself well and have the right skillsets, it can enhance your value.

How much it would be worth, in your particular situation, depends on many of the factors I've mentioned, so it would be impossible for me to do any meaningful cost/benefit analysis. I'd say, though, that it is quite expensive, and increasingly difficult to justify for most people. But, again, that all depends on your current income, and how much it could be increased with the added degree.

You might consider trying to get an assistanceship to cover your tuition and help with your expenses. Many schools offer such programs for graduate students, and while they are far less common in MBA programs, they do exist in some places. Check around and see what your options are. Never pay for grad school if you can help it! :)
