Who makes more money? Lawyer or an Investment Banker? |
who makes the most money? If you had a choice which job would you rather take? which job is more strenous with longer hours? Which one makes more money depends on the skill of the person. The skill of the person may depend a lot on how much the person enjoys the work, finds creative fulfillment, sense of accomplishment, and so on. These things also apply to the problem of long hours and stress... the field that gives you more personal satisfaction will be better for you. I Would Say Lawyer the latter an investment banker makes more money To make it to the top in either it takes so much work and long hours. From what I've read it's investment bankers who make the most money...if you make it to the top. But they generally have to work longer hours (7am-7pm) than lawyers. This is why many of them retire/quit after 35 years old as they have built up a nice big nest egg. I would prefer to be a laywer though....but both seem too stressful for me. Investment bankers often get multimillion-dollar bonuses at year-end and and can make millions more in salary. Most lawyers are lucky to make even a low six-figure salary, and I know a few that are on food stamps. The opportunities to make huge amounts of money are in investment banking, not law. Depends, but on average, an investment banker makes more than a lawyer. They are both high stress jobs with the potential for long hours. |
