What effect will the Central Banks' increase in available funds and the FED's decrease in interest rates have |
on the residential real estate market? Will purchase money be more readily available to Buyers? the federal bank rate is the rate banks charge each other for loaning money and will have little or no effect at the consumer level. I don't think the increase in available funds will change mortgage payment nor decrease foreclosure's Money will be more readily available and interest rates on mortgages will be less. Good deal for the market and home owners when the fed cuts the interest rate the companys can lend more and put that money for some productive purpose ,when productivity increases the economy will perform better!!! thats the idea!!! but if it cuts too much of interest it will lead to inflation and prices will go up then to correct the situation the fed will increase the interest rate.the cycle goes on to keep the inflation on a healthy level(fed and central bank both are same) |
