Could someone please explain the financial meaning of the phrase below in terms of returns? |
ShareBuilder money market fund (BDMXX) 7-day yield rose from 4.49% to 4.51% This is the same as a current yeild. im almost sure that BDMXX is the name of your market fund and the yield on it rose from 4.49% to 4.51% which really is not much. if you don't know what yeild is, that is what you get back from the money that you start with, also known as princple. if you want to invest some money dont put any in Market funds try Stocks. I hope that im right however i still in business school so dont kill if im wrong |
