How safe is a non FDIC insured money market fund in view of the near collapse of Bear Stearns.? |
I have a Wells Fargo account not a mutual or stock. Money market funds can have some losses too. Because these funds invest in various AAA securities and other financial insitutions, both of which are turning out to be a lot less secure than the rating agencies have led people to believe. |
