In today's market which makes better sense ,money market accounts or money market funds accounts.?

A money market account is normally through a bank and is FDIC insured. A money market fund is normally through a mutual fund or brokerage house and is not FDIC insured. It is still quite safe and will pay a bit more interest. There is increased risk, though small.
