How to find holdings in a mutual fund?

How to find holdings in a mutual fund?

Many fund companies list their full holdings as of the latest quarter end on their website.

Go to Morning Star or call a broker

Hard to find. Quarterly report will give complete listing as of end of quarter.

Morningstar has top 10 holdings I belive.

These days, it is extremely easy to find the holdings of mutual funds. Go to money.msn.com - find your fund in the fund section and click on top 25 holdings. That should give you a pretty good idea of what is in your fund.
In Canada, go to globefund.com - same thing, easy to use, but it only shows the top 10 holdings

Prospectus, or even better the semi-annual report will give you more holding specific info as of some specific date.
