Where can I buy a mutual fund or annuity and pay a simple flat rate fee?

Where can I buy a mutual fund or annuity and pay a simple flat rate fee?

If you were to purchase no load open end mutual funds directly from the fund company there are no fees at all. Annuities are outside my area of expirtise.

Why pay a fee? www.vanguard.com offers mutual funds with no commission whatever. There are others too.

I have two mutual funds with fidelity.com and they don't have a fee. They do have an annual service charge which I believe is less than 2%.

I don't think there are any funds without this service fee.
