Can I change my Mutual fund scheme from dividend payout option to growth option / dividend reinvestment option

Can I change my Mutual fund scheme from dividend payout option to growth option / dividend reinvestment option

Hi there,

Mutual Funds send a transaction slip which is given just below the account statement or certificate of purchase that they send you. Look at this transaction slip. You should find an option which allows you to change from dividend payout to growth. You just fill this and send it to the respective AMC (SBI, HDFC, Reliance etc.). In case it is not there you can just write an application form and send it to them. You can also call the customer care center for that particular AMC and they will let you know what to do. You will find these numbers behind the account statement or you can find it from the website of the respective AMC.

I hope this helps.
