How to choose good mutual fund for better returns?

I DID IT FOR 2 YEARS .GOOD INTEREST/ NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE BACK IN THE PERIOD.SBI

There are many rating services, but one of the better respected is Morningstar. They have a wealth of information and rank funds from 1 star to 5 star. Some information is free, but to get the full subscription, you'll have to pay.

If you're with one particular brokerage house, say Fidelity.com, you can find quite a bit of info on their website, and it will list the Morningstar ranking as well.

You can also enter the ticker symbol on Yahoo! Finance, which has a lot of information on mutual funds, as well as stocks and ETFs.

Remember, though, past performance of a mutual fund doesn't necessarily predict the future performance.

Depending on your age, risk appetite and expected returns, there are no of good MF for investment.
The best way to select is by going through the respective web sites and study their past performances.Go for 4 & 5 star funds only.
