1 year, USERX up 106.6%
3 year, PSPFX up 55.9% annually
5 year, UNWPX up 49.1% annually

among the ETF index funds:

1 year, EWZ up 58.28%
3 year, EWZ up 56.28%
ytd, FXI up 27.6%

darn! I don't own any of them.

Chasing past performance is not the way to make money. You must consider what will do well next. Investing takes knowledge and experience. Read all you can on the subject.

the "homerun hitters" during the short term (5 yrs and less) are almost always sector / specialty funds so chasing those is about the worst thing that you can do - for a while the Calamos Growth fund, which is a diversified (but aggressive) US stock fund had the best 10 year track record out there, but they have lagged over the last 6 mos or so...might be a good opportunity.
