Look at the Vanguard Energy Fund.

Your question will get you into a lot of trouble. Chasing returns is the worst way to invest. One usually winds up in the losing end of funds that have been recently doing well.

The key to good long term investing is "asset allocation". Read some good books on mutual funds that include a detailed explanation on how to create your "asset allocation".

If you don't.... you'll always be wondering why some people (other than yourself) do well with mutual funds.

For the last 5 -10 years funds investing in Latin America have done fantastic.

DWS - Scudder Latin America (SLAFX) is one. Fidelity has one and I think T. Rowe Price may also have one.

morningstar.com provides free advice and uses a star rating system to rank what they would recommend as the best. Use some diversification as well. Right now China, Southeast Asia, Latin America, Emerging Markets, Alternative Energy are all good areas.
