if you want to buy a mutual fund, buy from the fund itself or through a broker like Scottrade or E Trade

you can go to yahoo finance to research mutual funds, find out which ones are making the most, etc.

You would be better served finding a local broker who you can get to know BEFORE you allow them to handle your money. While the site appears to be legitimate, your statement about giving them power of attorney over your funds OVER-THE-INTERNET is a deal-breaker.

There are better ways to invest; safer, convenient, and able to teach you in the process, which is always good.

It is far to risky.

Not sure about them, but this is a great resources for finding the best funds. Maybe you will decide to buy one through this link since that one you're looking at may not rate the funds.
