Who believes in Offshore investing? Are they all scams?

Is Offshore investing real? are there real offshore investments?

Prime believers are people who want to scam you and the Government such as hedge funds that deal with hundreds of millions of dealers.

Obviously they're not all scams. If you fear your governments handling of your local economy (and global for that matter) then diversifying the location of your wealth and the investments you make can have advantages.

Remember in 1933 the US government confiscated gold from its citizens. In 2001 the government in Argentina froze its entire populations bank accounts. And, there have been many examples of governments restricting the movement of their citizens assets in and out of countries.

It's your labour, and your wealth so you should decide what is best for you - Taking history into account anyone with significant wealth would be sensible to take precautions.

Not all are scams, but I can promise you, if they have no physical address listed, and are advertising from a web site, they are a scam.

If you hear about them from an unsolicited email, they are a scam.

If they say they pay over 0.5% per day, they are a scam.

If they are an HYIP they are a scam.

If they guarantee a profit they are a scam.

If they say you can't lose, Oooh, it hurts when I laugh that much...

Yes they are real, some are not. You need to be careful and go through a licensed securities dealer and or use a licensed law firm in the country.
