I sell stuff online through paypal and I make quite a bit. Do I have to register as a business?

Dont pay your taxes, and you'll be in a BOATLOAD of trouble if you didnt register as a business...

The only thing in life that you have to do is die & pay taxes. If are doing business on the internet using a Paypal account the money that is deposited can be traced to your bank account. If you choose not to pay income tax on the money that is deposited in your account and the IRS happens to get wind, it won't be pretty. Not only will you have to pay the back taxes on the income, there will be penalities & interest up the Wazoo!

you should register with your state internal revenue service and get a state tax stamp and business id.
don't forget to pay yourself a handsome salary,include vehicle costs,health costs,office costs [ including computer ].
best find a consultant to help you out of the business tax set up and control
