Should I quit my job or not? Or just have a little business on online auctions like ebay? |
I am not happy with my work right now, is it ok to quit, even though my husband is not earning that much. I have a 8 mos old son & i plan if i quit, il just buy & sell, auction online, like in ebay. I tried to be a seller in ebay, & fortunately, i have some sales but like i can sell 1 or 2 bags in a week, maybe because of my limited stocks. What should i do If you were to quit would you be able to supliment your husbands income enough that you all would be financially ok? If the answer is yes you all would be ok, and that you would sell enough on ebay for you all to live (pay bills, food on the table, etc) then by all means quit! If not, I would suggest either finding another job before your quit your current job, or discussing why you are unhappy with your job with a superviser. Maybe they can make some changes and make your workplace a better place to be. Good Luck! I think you should find another job in that case, and then quit. online selling is too inconsistent to count on it for a regualr income when you are just starting out. how about a part time job you do like and look forward to. it would give you a break to be yourself without the baby and give dad some one on one time. when my son was young i was a part time cake decorator at a bakery. Sure, if you make enough money to pay for living costs. If you are not happy with your present work, you should start another work that makes you happy don't quit yet, get a new job first before quiting. The online thing should be something on the side....extra income. It's be important for you to have med. benefits for u & ur son....with a company.
