How can online small business of computer accessories compete with big companies of same business?

Is this research question good for a master course in terms of having one problem, not having solution in it, and linking problem and target?

Don't listen about the price crap, trust me there is no way to compete with them on a price. Marketing and differentiation is your way show how your product is better how your service is better more personal, how your customers do not have to press 10 buttons to speak with an operator, etc

Aim for niche markets. Products which only sell in a niche are too much bother for too little return for the big players but good for the minnows like us because you can charge more and get a decent return. Trouble is, I can't imagine what they would be in the computer realm. In terms of cleaning chemicals (a business I have some links with) I know a firm thats making millions selling specialist chemicals to vets, the military etc. The market is too tiny for the big chem companies to boother with. What would be a similar product/market in computing? Find it an go for that.

Your first question is straightforward and I could give you the answer in 2 1/2 minutes flat. But I wont because of your second question to which the answer is simply its not ma material. What would be MA material is a thesis about the new $100 computer, production is now set to be ramped up and it is new material with mileage. And I'm not an IT specialist.
