People start a home business online to have the freedom to make their own choices in how to live their lives. That's a freedom most people don't get in a traditional job.

They want to be able to walk away from their work to play with their kids, take trips, or just relax when they are burned out.

They also want to have more control over their income. A successful online business gives you the freedom to give yourself a raise simply by working a little harder or a little smarter.

Personally I started making money part time to pay some extra bills over 1 year ago, of course I do more than one opportunity like doing surveys, data entry, selling items on "auction sites"
