I am a full time college student and was wondering how hard it would be for me to start up an internet business?
could i start with nothing?
what kind of businesses are there?
do i need any type of training or a liscence?

There are several ways that you can start an online business. Do you have something to sell or a service to provide. There are web hosts that can assist in setting up an online business. If you have an idea of what you want to start it doesn't take much money to get started. The biggest investment will be your time in building your business. There are ways that you can generate an income without selling something either. You could be a infopreneur and just build a website around a certain subject, passion, and/or interest then collect money from advertisements on your site. It's not hard to start an online business, however it is hard to make it successful. You will need to learn how to market your business online whether through learning search engine optimization techiniques, or using pay per click advertising. You can certainly start an online business for next to nothing. Blogging is a great platform to start for free, but again there is a large learning curve for learning what people are looking for, how to write the content needed and then how to earn money from that content.
