Best way to advertise my online business?

Im about a month away from opening my business. I will be offering a service from 13-20 dollard aimed at ages 15 and up. What the best way to advertise to gain a client? I willing to spend up to $5 per signup but dont want to waste money on non signups. Advice is needed

I'd focus first on getting search engine traffic. It's free, so you don't have to worry about paying a commission. Search engine optimization has different components to it: keyword research, writing content, optimizing pages, and getting links, among others. I've included some links to articles on those topics.

As far as paying for traffic, you don't say what your business is, so it's hard to say whether a pay per click program might work for you. You'd want a low cost per click since not everyone will signup. Make the cost of the service clear in your ad to reduce the number of tire kickers.

Online classifieds are another option. There are lots of free classified sites you can post to. CraigsList.com is the undisputed king of these.
