What would be the best way to find artists, to supply inventory for an online /store front art business?

Im looking into starting an online art business. The main goal would be to find hobbiest artist who are looking to make extra cash at first and give the business a % of the profits(or other terms may be made) & possibly join the team as permanent art supplier. What would be the best way for me to find these artists/ suppliers??

There are quite a few art sites out there that promote artists. Check out the search results on Google just for "art for sale":

A good way to find local artists that are looking for exposure is a local college (if there's one in your area). College art students are new and are always looking for exposure.

You could also check into craft sites and find crafters who are looking to sell their works as well.

Visit local craft or art festivals. Meet artists.
Put an advertisement in the newspaper.
Advertise on the local radio.
