Online Business in Florida?

Hello, here is the deal. I want to purchase products directly from chproducts.com and they sent me this email:
"Hello,

Thank you for your email. You may open up a direct reseller account with us at any time. To qualify, please fax a copy of your resale certificate or business license to my attention at 760-598-2524.

Upon receipt, I will forward a complete dealer package to you.

Thank you for your interest in CH Products !!"

Now I need to know everything I need to get to make this business legit. I will be selling my products on Ebay. The whole plan is to purchase straight from CH Products and to sell it on Ebay, but I do not know what licenses I need and where to obtain them. I live in St. Cloud, which is in Osceola County, which is in Florida.

The first thing you need to do is get an application for a fictitious, or in other words, a business name. When I applied for mine, (in Manatee County), I went down to the courthouse to pick up the app. Once you've got a business name, you should get a business checking account started. And, you will need to apply to get a resale certificate. If you're in business, you're not supposed to pay tax on what you're going to resell, and that's what the resale certificate is for. It also proves to a wholesaler that you are really in business to resell, rather than just use their products. A wholesaler, in general, does not sell direct to the public. Even though you're selling on Ebay, and might not be subject to state sales taxes anyway, for this wholesale company you want to buy from, you'll need the resale certificate. Go to the Florida Department of Revenue's website and register, or if you want a paper form, it's called a DR-1. You need to get a new certificate every year.

Hey Darko, Go to www.osceolstaxcollector.org, than click on "Local Business Tax Receipt", . It is $30.00 a year.
