Online California business will not honor the advertised price. What can I do? |
I went online and purchased item at $59.95 per unit. In the advertisement there was no indication of any blemish and in fact they told me they did not have the item in stock and had to order. The retailer is now telling me it was a blemished product that is no longer in stock. Also, I called the manufacturer and they DO NOT sell a blemished product. Online retailer instead offering a new deal at $126.00 per unit. Don't they have to honor the price they listed? What can I do? Can the Better Business Bureau help or do they just slap a notice? Do I have a chance in a small claims court and can I increase the monetary value of complaint just because of the time I've been spending trying to get them to see my side? Better Business is a joke. I would waste my time with them. omdee2, can you like email me. I was kind of confused when you said something about credit card and paypal. I posted a question about ebay and paypal and you answered. So let me know. Thanks |
