What type of contracts do I need for my online web design business?

My web design business has always operated offline, face-to-face, so I usually give my clients some documents to sign in my presence but it's really a hassle because they get scared when you talk about contracts.

Now, I want to do business online with clients that I will never see in person. I would like to use electronic agreements that they can just put a checkmark confirming they agree. A hosting contract is a must but what about the actual web design project contract? Should I just use Elance or something for that? Please let me know any tips.
