Is it possible for me to run an American online business under American laws living in Germany?

My wife is German, and I'm in the Army. She wants to go back to Germany to live. I told her I would go with her to live. I'm keeping my American citizenship and I'm wanting to set my online business up no matter what. Can I still use my State laws where I am born and raised for more than 20 years of my life to run it under that state as far as information goes even though I'm living in Germany or do I have to go by German laws. Also, my German isn't that good either that's why I'm wanting to set up information in my home state laws. Is there any information I can get on this subject too? Any websites, e-mails, phone numbers, or addresses anything would be suffice for me right now. Thank you.

If your on-line business is registered in the U.S. there is no reason you can't continue to run it as an ex-pat. Check with your hosting company to be sure you will have full access to the servers from a German ISP.
Keep in mind that you will still be subject to US income tax. You might possibly be liable for taxes in Germany as well. You should contact the german Embassy to see if this is the case.
