What is the some ideas for an online business that sells items?

hello, I am a 16 year old male wanting to start my own online business, I have alot of time on my hands and I have parents who are very supporting and will help me along the way, anyways I was wondering what are the best things to sell online, and what items are the easiest to buy wholesale, thankyou

Create a dot-com and send sell it to big guys with big money

Well you have plenty of options with this.First off,MUSIC will never disappear ,so anything with music memorabilia(posters,shirts,cd's,etc) should sell very well.My second opinion would say that males between the age of 35-45 probably make the most money.So,anything to do with watches,ties,cologne,etc...should have a good money market. a little bit advice:

1st. don't begin by trying to sell something. begin by creating a real website what has interesting articles on it. Then build the traffic to the site. do joint venture, affiliate and linkpartner deals and in about 6 months or 1 year or 2... you're making money with it (even if you don't have your own products).

2nd. your key to success is what you know, because you're affected by what you know. So, it really starts from your own brain and it's not so much about what product you're selling or what kind of niche you have... it's what is happening in your own mind and how you look at this life.

What are your interests? It's hard to have an impressive business if you don't care about the products or customers so my suggestion is to brainstorm the items that you have passion for... the money will follow. It's easy to find wholesale sources for products but the there's a difference between places that say they are wholesale prices and those who sell at wholesale. A real wholesaler cannot and will not sell to you without having a legitimate tax ID so keep that in mind when selecting vendors. Once you are legit you will have sales reps wanting to talk to you about their companies and products. That's how you know what's real. Create a niche for yourself and constantly learn about business, your products and your customers. Use your Tax ID to get tax credits that will increase your profits. You can make money in almost any industry (except alcohol, tabacco and firearms). Think along the lines of computers, music, phones, sports, comic books, and other things that people collect, use, etc. Do you have products that you can make yourself ... wood, metal, crafts, food??? Think of yourself as a buyer instead of a seller. Your mission is to provide the right products at the right price at the right time. Brand yourself and sell value instead of price. Once you know the features and benefits of the products you choose you can get others to want to buy them. What do you buy? What motivates you to buy? Just keep in mind that the online part of your business is only how you distribute... your business is your business so make it legal and get your name out there as the best in the field. The money will follow. Start small but think big.
