Could I Live Off Of Online Business?

I would love to open up my own online business. Selling womens teens/young adults accessories,clothes, shoes, purses the whole shanigan I spend a great deal of time on the computer and I'm pretty darn good at it & i have somewhat experience in HTML and am interested in marketing. I was wondering If I could make a profitable income of of this and then maybe work like a part time job? Could this provide enough money..like 35k or more a year?

Best thing to do is keep your day job. With an online business, there are no "work hours" where you have to be at the computer. Build it slowly, keep that day job, but focus on how to build the online business. It's quite possible to make substantial money, even while keeping that day job.

I think you need to have a business plan before you jump into anything. You may well be successful, but I doubt you have the resources to make 35k right away just with that. It's gonna have to start slower.
