Its been my dream to start a business and I figure starting it online would be a good start. Any advise? I live in Wisconsin. For sellers permits, it will depend what type of products you will be selling.

Chris. Like any business you'll need a business plan to start up, extra cash reserves to cover expenses, depending on what you want to do.
Then you'll have to buy a domain name, have someone design your website so that it is accessible to everyone ,not just those with sight. This costs money, unless you know somemone who will do it for you.
Don't assume you'll make money instantaneously either. Even with online businesses two to five years is a reasonable amount of time to be working at it before and when you make any kind of profit.
You'll also have to check that the time of your business isn't already under a copyright.

You can actually start an online business without selling your own products (but you can do that too if you really want). I started a chocolate candy website called http://www.chocolate-candy-mall.com but I don't actually sell the products myself. I refer people to the particular chocolate candy distributor that makes what they are looking for, like chocolate covered apples, or chocolate truffles, or chocolate candy molds, etc. I get commissions from those companies. I also get advertising fees from Google. I could sell my own products if I wanted to, but haven't wanted the extra hassle yet. =) Maybe in a few years time I'll buckle down and do that. Right now I am having fun doing it this way.
Anyway, I didn't have the first clue how to go about getting started. Thankfully, after searching through the online mire of home business scams, etc., I ran across a legit company that really teaches you how to do it and be successful without all the empty promises of easy money.
