If you have an online business and don't want your logo or graphics stolen, what do you do???

My friend and i are starting an online business and have a logo, business name and graphics that we want to protect! Any suggestions on how we do this?? We aren't wanting to spend scores of money to begin with as we are poor college kids. :) Thanks so much!

As far as not being able to copy anything, there is no such thing. Those of us who know how to code websites can -- if we lacked integrity -- take whatever we wanted. So don't look at this problem the way you are.

You can get your information copywritten or trademarked (I forget which) for a fee. Just look up those words on the web and read about them.

Don't put them online. That's really the only way to prevent it. Such is the nature of the internet. They're your logos and you own them... if you see someone else using them, you have the legal right to demand they stop, and to take legal action if they do not.

But if you put them out there, they're at risk, and there's no way around that.

I know that it is possible, but don't know the code. You can put something in your website that will not allow anyone to right click or highlight and copy.

put your biz name or website url on the logo and graphic. too few people will go extra mile to learn how to get rid off the name.
