I started my on online business, but how do you get customers?

I started my online business but I do not have as much support from family. It is a solid business but I am looking for ways to improve it. http://Bigdoggpinc.ispeedway.com and I know there are business professionals out there that can give me solid advice. I need your good advice please.

Have you thought about pay per click programs? The two biggest, I think, are Yahoo! and Google

1) Create a blog pertaining to your field

2) Use Yahoo! Local & Yahoo! Groups 鈥?Be sure to read the TOS for each one!

3) Write articles pertaining to your field and/or expertise.

Also, consider signing up for an affiliate program. These programs enable you to advertise on other's sites (your affiliates) and once a sale is made to you, your affiliates & the program are paid a commission.

If I were you, Id just start posting your web adress everywhere. Get a myspace account and start there.
Make up flyers and start dispursing them around town.

First you need to shorten the website name, you need to make it something simple for your visitors to remember such as i.e. www.yahoo.com is very simple and easy to use.

Secondly market, do old school marketing such as passing out flyers and business cards. Get the word out! This way is a whole lot cheaper than any internet marketing. Plus, this way gets better ratios.
