Sueing An Online Business In Canada??

I purchased a computer online from Tigerdirect.
After the orginal payment of the shopping cart, I noticed 2 unathorized payments on my credit card. The first was completely refunded. The second was not even though Tigerdirect admitted to unlawfully taking funds from my card. These errors of theirs caused me to lose an important date which caused a great deal of embarrasement as well as a loss of concentration causing a break down and a loss of marks at University. I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau, but I choose to sue them in small claims court. Do You think I will win? Can I sue an online store? Can I sue for pain and suffering? How much can sue for, and how do I go about doing so?

contact the credit card company first and get the unauthorized charges removed - once that's done - you'll never get win anything in a lawsuit - just put the bad experience behind you and move on with life

Your credit card company will refund you. Let them go after the company if they're interested.

They are not just an online company they have many large stretial stores in and arount the surrounding GTA area

so infact you not suing an online store per say ...just like walmart it sells online but it is not just an online store .

credit card company can refund you, or if they don't return your money, go get the other computer.

i use a debit card for my online purchase. I only deposit the exact amount.
