Can a 17yr old get a business license to do online business?

im interested to do online business with a company, and its legit because i contact it and did background check on it, and im now satisfied by it well what will do is im going to get powerful tools from it and continue from there. My father has a business for 19 yrs nand he knows everything and entreupenial {if im spelling it right} runs in my blood and in my family so we are work hard and fast learners. Im mostly a fast learner I read alot of business magazines and I have ideas and I would love to put it in reliaty which i can do, I don't ask for much you know, Im really looking forward to this but there's question that's been banging my mind lately can me a 17 year old get a certified online business license and how, where, can i get it. I live in brooklyn new york and im very smart when it comes to marketing and I can speak properly well like a phone script, so like I really want feedback like some business advices and a business license can i get it or without it? so tell me...

i've been reading and researching about getting a business license for myself (however, i am over 18 yrs old). i remember coming across a hypothetical situation as yours and it states that if you are under 18 you will have to have some over 18 to apply with you. it is similar to applying/obtain a loan.
