I am planning to start an LLC to do an online business. I live in AZ and my business partner live in AL. I want to know from experts whether I need to get the License from both the state or just one state is enough to run the business? You need to register this under your name in your state and put your partner as the share holder in that. Ask an accountant NOW so yopu will not be sorry in the future. You run it from one state to start, later you expand to a second state, lic in both, your partner is a member of your LLC you're the MP (Managing Partner) All funds that enter the llc go to expenses or to members, the members pay taxes. |
