How to calculate a RoI (Return on Investment) on a marketing online campaign? You can then calculate your ROI by how much immediate revenue is generated $'s earned divided by $'s spent . If you are just trying to create awareness for a product or service that won't necessarily generate revenue immediately, then you need to be able to track # of hits and compare it to historical data of how many people purchase in what period of time after visiting the website, etc. take what you earn in income / your cost for the campaign. If that number is over 1 (100%), then that % is more or less your return on investment. All ROI is a percentage, or dollar figure, you earn in comparison to a dollar you spend. |
