What is the business environment like in Netherlands?

I'm preparing project for my loan structuring classes about Dutch pension fund and need to know the business environment in the country.

Your question is pretty broad. Do you want to know about loans in the Netherlands, about Dutch pension funds or about the economy and business environment in general?

The Dutch economy is on the rise and the Netherlands have quite a good investment climate for businesses. Taxes are relatively low, so you see quite a few multi-nationals having their seat in the Netherlands. I reckon the business climate is quite good, since we have been a trading nation and we do not produce much ourselves (we're mainly into services) we need an attractive business climate.

Recently pension funds have been criticised for investing in arms industries, so some are revising their investment strategy to politically/socially more acceptabel industries to invest in.
